NOAC from a Staff Member's Perspective

| Written by

This past week, I attended my first ever NOAC, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I served as a staff member on the communications committee, and it gave me a very unique perspective on the conference.

As a staff member, I arrived at Indiana University before the lodge contingents. This gave me an extra day to explore the campus and what the conference had to offer. I was a member of the eNews team, which meant I helped write the emails that went out every morning. This was a time consuming job, but I still had plenty of opportunity to visit almost every activity area, as well as being able to spend time with my lodge.

I also got to work with Arrowmen from all across the country. Over the course of the week, I made friends that will last a lifetime. I am very excited to continue working with them in preparation for NOAC 2020!

Serving as staff at the 2018 National Order of the Arrow Conference was an inspirational experience that changed the way I look at the OA. I’m so thankful for this experience and am very excited for next NOAC!
